While in the right picture, both the father and the boy concentrate on their study. The words below the pictures saying“Instead of just demanding, setting a good example is more important.”
We’re all aware that parents play great important role in the growing of their children. Parents can teach children by setting good examples in their daily life. If parents can not achieve their requirements, how can they ask their children to do so? In children’s view, their parents are always perfect, and they do what their parents do, especially when they’re young. So it’s of great significance to set good examples for the children.
Above all, parents cannot just tell their children what to do, they should also discipline themselves. In this way, children can feel that they’re respected and treated equally.
我的榜樣英語作文篇2When comes to role model, people always think about some pop stars or heroes. A model in my eyes is not just a great beauty, or a wealthy person, but a virtuous person. He does not wear expensive clothes but he is always offering. He is always willing to help others but never want return.
In China, everybody knows Lei Feng. In his short but meaningful life, the number of the people who have accepted Lei Feng’s help is countless. He was a soldier in the army and was always ready to help others. He was a great man with good qualities, he cared much more about others than himself. He thoughtthat "Man's life is limited , but serving the people is unlimited. I should devoted my limited life to serve the people."Lei Feng wrote this in his diary, and so he did.
Unfortunately, he died because of the work when he was still young. But his spirit has influenced us, especially the teenagers. In 1963, Chairman Mao wrote “learn to Lei Feng” for him. People began to learnt from him. They do as Lei Feng did, helping and caring for others. The saying "Lei Feng is our example" spread everywhere for decades. Our society needs such a spirit, needs thousands of millions of persons like Lei Feng.
Though Lei Feng has been away from us for many years,his spirit and good qualities are still alive. He made me know that helping and caring others is of great importance.
He was a such common person ,but he was different from others with a strong character, so I regarded him as my role model. I learned from him that I should show my love and care the people in need. If we can do so, everyone will become a model.
