1. 我是中國人

Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls,

I am Chinese. I am proud of being a Chinese with five thousand years of civilization behind. I've learned about the four great inventions made by our forefathers. I've learned about the Great Wall and the Yangtze River. I've learned about Zhang Heng(張衡)and I've learned about Zheng He(鄭和)．Who says the Yellow River Civilization has vanished(消失)？I know that my ancestors have made miracles(奇跡)on this fertile land and we're still ma-ki-ng miracles. Who can ignore the fact that we have established ourselves as a great state in the world, that we have devised our own nuclear weapons, that we have successfully sent our satellites into space, and that our GNP ranks No. 7 in the world? We have experienced the plunders (掠奪) by other nations, and we have experienced the war. Yet, based on such ruins, there still stands our nation----China, unyielding and unconquerable!

I once came across an American tourist. She said, “China has a history of five thousand years, but the US only has a history of 200 years. Five thousand years ago, China took the lead in the world, and now it is the US that is leading.”My heart was deeply touched by these words. It is true that we're still a developing nation, but it doesn't mean that we can despise (鄙視) ourselves. We have such a long-standing history, we have such abundant resources, we have such intelligent and diligent people, and we have enough to be proud of. We have reasons to say proudly： we are sure to take the lead in the world in the future again, for our problems are big, but our ambition (雄心) is even bigger, our challenges (挑戰) are great, but our will is even greater.

I am Chinese. I have inherited (繼承) black hair and black eyes. I have inherited the virtues of my ancestors. I have also taken over responsibility. I am sure, that wherever I go, whatever I do, I shall never forget that I am Chinese!

2. Yes, we can

This is for my people who just lost somebody, your best friend, your baby, your man or your lady. Lift your head to the sky, we will never say bye.

These are words of the song Bye-Bye. Every time when I hear it, I’ll always lose myself in grief recalling the tough time we came through in 2015.

The snow storm, the Tibet issue, the obstruction to the Olympic torch relay，the

earthquake……Time dates back to the day the horrible earth quake occurred in Sichuan, tens of thousands of people lost life and families. I’ll never forget those days I sat front of the TV, moved by people never gave up under ruins even there’s little hope to survive. I’ll never forget those days most newspa-pe-rs and websites were all in black and white. I’ll never forget those days I had my black coat on, writing down my best wishes to the suffering people.

At the same time, I also remember those days my friends abroad told me that they joined in the protest against western world’s bias on China and the fight against the Tibetan separatists. I can still remember the day when I went to see the torch relay at Hangzhou with heart shaped stickers on cheek. I wore the T-shirt with words Light the Passion, Light the Dream . When the torch passed by, we cheered Go China, Go Beijing, sang the national anthem again and again, waving flags, dancing, hugging, clapping.

It was the opening ceremony of 2015 Beijing Olympic Games which shocked the whole world and told the entire human Yes, we can.

Yes, we can, because we are united and brave

Yes, we can because we have trust and love

Yes, we can because we are the member of the great nation China

3. I believe my dream

I’m so happy that I can be admitted by my dreamed school. The new campus gives me a new start so I have a dream that the future me can rise out this small world and hold a place of myself, after several years’ experience . 我太高興了，我可以承認我的夢想學校。新校園給了我一個新的開始，所以我有一個夢想，今后我可以擺脫這個小世界和舉行地點的我，經過幾年的經驗。

In order to make this dream come true, I ask myself not only focus my attention on studies ,because I should face all the society not only my textbooks or my classmates.

為了使這一夢想成真，我問自己，不僅集中了我的'注意學習，因為我應該面對所有的社會不僅是我的教科書或我的同學。

I think college is also a small society where I can improve myself .For example I should learn how to get along with other though I may dislike them ,or how to deal with things that I used regard as worthless and so on.. 我認為，大學也是一個小社會里，我可以提高自己。例如我應該學會如何相處與其他雖然我可能不喜歡他們，或如何處理的事情，我使用方面的毫無價值的，等等..

Although every thing is unforeseeable, I believe my dream will come true as long as I stick to them and never give up!

4. I love english

As everyone knows,English is very important today.It has been used everywhere in the world.It has become the most common language on Internet and for international trade. If we can speak English well,we will have more chance to succeed.Because more and more people have taken notice of it,the number of the people who go to learn English has increased at a high speed. But for myself,I learn English not only because of its importance and its usefulness,but also because of my love for it.When I learn English, I can feel a different way of thinking which gives me more room to touch the world.When I read English novels,I can feel the pleasure from the book which is different from reading the translation.When I speak English, I can feel the confident from my words.When I write English,I can see the beauty which is not the same as our Chinese...

I love English,it gives me a colorful dream.I hope I can travel around the world one day. With my good English, I can make friends with many people from different contries.I can see many places of great intrests.I dream that I can go to London,because it is the birth place of English.

I also want to use my good English to introduce our great places to the English spoken people,I hope that they can love our country like us.

I know, Rome was not built in a day. I believe that after continuous hard study, one day I can speak English very well.

If you want to be loved, you should learn to love and be lovable. So I believe as I love English everyday , it will love me too.

5. Healthy Lifestyle

Hello, everyone.I am very glad to have this chance to join this speech contest.I am li Mengtian.I am from Wan Fang Middle School . Today the topic of my speech is “Healthy Lifestyle”.

Health is very important in our life.If you want to have a happy life,you must have a healthy lifestyle.Do you know how we keep in good health?Let me tell you.

Everyone knows a good eating habit is very important for us .But not many people have time to think about what to eat .In many western countries.fast food is very popular.Because people don't have time to eat,and they also think fast food is very delicious.In America,an American can eat about three hamburgers and four bags of French chips every day.That is 2520 calories.But we know a person need about only 2000 calories for a day.So you see , many Americans are very fat. We should have a good eating habit at once.What should we do?

People always say,"An apple e day,keeps the doctor away."Drinking milk is also good for us.And we need a balance of "yin"and "yang".It's a traditional Chinese way to keep healthy.We shouldn't eat too much unhealthy food like junk food.Now , I will tell you what food are best for our health . Eggs have too much protein , you know protein is good for kids.And tomatoes have too many vitamins , it's good for everybody.Oh , soybean , carrots , seafood , green tea ,pawpaw , oranges , strawberries and so on are also healthy food . Please eat more these kinds of food!

We know that exercise is also very important . Exercising can make children more alert . There are many ways to exercise . You can run , swim , skate or play ball games like basketball , volleyball , football and golf . But maybe you don't know walking is also good for our body , and maybe it's better than other sports . You should exercise in the morning , because you can enjoy fresh air then . Some people like exercising at fitness centers , there are a lot of equipments . You should exercise for 20 minutes every day . Don't exercise too much . It's bad for us!

And a good sleeping habit is good for us , too .Before we go to bed,we should drink some milk, it can help us sleep well.But I know some people always can't sleep well.I think they shouldn't, take a sleeping pill . After evening meal , they should go for walk or have conversations with their family or listen some light music . Maybe these activities can make them than sleep well.

Happiness lies first of all in health .Now , you must know many things about healthy lifestyle . If you want to have happy life , you should have a good eating habit , exercise every day and sleep well . So I wish everyone's life is getting hathier and heathier ,happier and happier , more and more wonderful!

The person I admire is a policeman. He was 1.83 metres tall. Of course he was very strong. He often helped others, but never asked for anything in return.

On the evening of March 14th, 2011, a tragedy happened. When a womam was walking along the road ,suddenly a young man rushed to her and robbed her handbag .She ran after the man and shouted ,“Help！ Help！That man robbed me of my handbag！”The policemen happened to be passing there. When he heard this, he began to run after the robber. After a while, the policemen caught the man.

The man fought back. Suddenly he took out a sharp knife .But the policemen did not notice it. The man thrust the knife into the policemen’s chest. The policemen fell to the ground bleeding. At last the man was caught, but the policemen couldn’t stand up any more. When I heard this, I cried for a long time.

Though the policemen died, he will live in my memory forever.
